Ahoy ye pirates and mermaids! Join the Captain and his crew as we spend a week with the pirates and mermaids. Each day, campers will read about both pirates and mermaids and engage in themed crafts. Have fun painting seashells, decorating pirate masks and even walking the plank. On Friday, bring your bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes because we will be splashing around in the sprinkler with the mermaids! Skyhawks Flag Football Camp - Park - Hoover (PHOOV)
Skyhawks Flag Football Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect introduction to Americas Game or a great refresher to those who want to brush up on their skills preparing for league play. Through our skill of the day exercises, campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron! Sport Specific Requirements: All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and a player evaluation. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 12:1. Swim, Tennis and Flag Football Camp - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Please sign up early for our popular tennis, flag football & swim camps held at Palo Altos Rinconada Park and Pool. Participants start each day with a tennis lesson 10-11:30am from the staff of Tennis program. Following tennis, the participates will eat with swim staff to eat from 11;30 am until 12:30 pm in the Rinconada Park. Following lunch the participates will head out to the field to engage in flag football from 12:30-2:30 pm with the Skyhawks coaching staff. After Skyhawks flag football, the participants will head over to the Rinconada Pool where they will enjoy swimming lessons, water games and be supervised by our lifeguards. Cost includes tennis lessons, soccer lessons, entrance to recreation swim, and supervision. Participants should bring a bag lunch, tennis racket, bathing suit, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a towel each day. Ages 8-12. Pre and Post Care will be available before and after this camp.
