Young Adult Leadership Retreat - Marble Falls, TX
Many of us have gone to church camp when we were in the youth group, but once we moved on to adulthood, most of us found that there are few places for people of our age to go to where we can get quality time with God away from our busy lives. The Young Adult retreat was designed to deal with that dilemma. This is an incredible, inexpensive opportunity for young professionals to get away for a weekend filled with God's word, fellowship, worship and fun. This summer we are happy to partner with the Manchester Athletic Club for an afternoon of tennis and summer fun. Students will be transported from Brookwood to the MAC each afternoon where the camp will feature an on-court tennis experience rain or shine daily. Kids Play in the Clay (Ages 5-8) - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Beginning students will learn basic skills involved with handbuilding in clay. This includes coil and slab built work, and basic sculpting techniques will also be covered as needed. All students will explore adding color using our selection of under glazes and colorful studio glazes. Tuition includes clay, glazes and firing fees. Class will meet: 01/17, 01/24, 02/07, and 02/14.
