Please help us with our 1st Jamison Hook Allstate Coats-4-Kids drive. We are excited to participate in this event with KXLY who have been keeping area kids warm for the last 30 years! With winter around the corner we need to insure the children of our community are taken care of! We will be announcing the winner of the competition as well as kicking off Brett's camping time 10 minutes per coat donated! Lets keep Brett cold!

We will be providing 20 young men ages 10 to 18 with an opportunity to grow through this new experience. There will be Basketball, Softball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, as well as some structured Life Coaching Assignments like Writing a Dream Paper, creating a Purpose Statement along with a Vision Board. This will be a great opportunity for these young men to grow, fellowship and make new friends.
Teen Adventure Camp - undefined, NC
In this program, designed exclusively for teenagers, students will develop a new sense of confidence and empowering self-reliance as they explore nature, ancient skills, and the lore of the Native Americans. Wilderness Survival Skills are the core of this program. Students will learn numerous outdoor skills, such as Primitive fire-making, shelter building, safe water purification and how to identify wild edible and medicinal plants. From here we'll expand outward and introduce your teenagers to variety of nature awareness exercises. These lessons will engage and enhance all of their senses and heighten their level of Awareness for their entire lives. Teens will come away with a true understanding and respect for nature and life in this great program.

Participants, their parents, and Parks, Recreation & Facilities staff are to be respectful to each other at all times. 2. Camper Information sheet must be completed and turned into Recreation Division by childs first day of camp. 3. All registrants must conduct themselves in a way in which they do not endanger their own safety or the safety of others. 4. Review and abide by the Departments guidelines for discipline. 5. The parent and/or guardian must provide or arrange for necessary transportation for their children both to and from the program sites. 6. Registrants are expected to be dressed appropriately and to properly participate in activities. 7. All personal belongings must be labeled. 8. Each child must bring a lunch, drink, and a snack daily. You and your team will compete throughout the week playing fun minute to win it games, as well as other exciting competitions. See if your team can race to the top of the leader board! Our field trip will be to the sensational City Museum in St. Louis, MO. As always, we will provide a yummy lunch for a fantastic food Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before the camp begins.
