Do you love learning about plants, animals, and the natural world? Do you want a chance to get outside, play, and explore this summer? Our nature camp will foster a personal connection to the natural world as we become naturalists and adventures fro the week! We will study a wide variety of topics such as plants and animals, ecosystems, outdoor exploration, nature crafts, and lively indoor and outdoor games. Each day campers will return home with some new fun facts, a game they learned, or even a story about what they found on a nature hike. Young Adult Leadership Retreat - Marble Falls, TX
Many of us have gone to church camp when we were in the youth group, but once we moved on to adulthood, most of us found that there are few places for people of our age to go to where we can get quality time with God away from our busy lives. The Young Adult retreat was designed to deal with that dilemma. This is an incredible, inexpensive opportunity for young professionals to get away for a weekend filled with God's word, fellowship, worship and fun. Kid's Summer Yoga Camp - Canby, OR
Balance and Harmony is happy to announce our first summer yoga camp for children ages 3-5. This camp will introduce your child to basic yoga poses and breathing exercises through story, songs and games. Each class will also include a creative activity that reinforces our yoga practice. Children will bring a packed snack and we will enjoy time outside at Wait Park. Taught by Sherry Wolfson. Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She began teaching preschool and special education over 30 years ago and has taught yoga to preschoolers at Childswork Learning Center in Portalnd for the past 3 years. Classes will be held for 5 weeks (July 1st - 29th) on Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00. Fee-$150 for all 5 days. Day Camp 9-4pm wk 2 - Frankfort Park District
The Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp is back for another awesome summer. This camp is designed for children entering 1st - 6th grade this fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days arts & crafts and a feild trip each week. Fort Frankfort Summer Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held a Commisioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Ave. in Frankfort. The Frankfort Park District continues its partnership with School District 157C for the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commisioners Park. We will use the facility for before and after camp and during inclement weather conditions. The camp will run from 9-4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a bfore and after care option. Bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Luch may be included on certain field trip days.Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. INSTRUCTOR Staff

S.T.E.A.M. into fun with this innovative and dynamic summer camp. Villa-Parkes Enrichment Camp creates an exciting learning environment that explores the five core concepts of the S.T.E.A.M. curriculum: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Each weeks activities are based on a theme. For example, during Space Exploration Week, campers may take a field trip to the Griffith Observatory, base their art projects around the solar system, do astronaut training activities for fitness and learn space themed vocabulary in Spanish. Campers do wacky science experiments, explore technology and mathematics through Lego(R) robotics in the computer lab, complete engineering challenges and attend language lessons including American Sign Language and Spanish. The camp also incorporates traditional camp arts and crafts activities like painting, drawing and beadwork, as well as ceramics instruction and the use of pottery wheels. Daily activities include at least 90 minutes of high-energy physical fitness. Specialized sports instruction is offered for both tennis and golf. Campers participate in recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. The Carr Elite Football Camps offer a unique learning experience for players of all ages and positions. Super Bowl Champion David Carr and Oakland Raiders Pro Bowler, QB Derek Carr, have created a football camp dedicated to improving not only the physical, but also the mental side of football. They bring an experienced staff made up of coaches from Division 1 Collegiate Schools and at the Professional Level. Sessions are open for QBs, Receivers, DBs, OLs, and all other positions.
