Minecraft Makers (Session 2) - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 7 and up Description: Campers will spend a week exploring all things Minecraft: from educational MODs, build challenges, hands on clay Minecraft figurine building, build a Minecraft torch that lights up, hour of code with Minecraft, Minecraft style block art tile painting, learn about screen printing and stencil your very own Creeper t-shirt, make Minecraft Creepers out of Hama beads, to paper arts and more. Students will spend about half the session online playing in a safe Minecraft student education environment, the other half creating Minecraft themed art. Summer Camp Girls Empowerment - Skyliner Lodge
There is a potent seed within all of us that receives nourishment when we consciously gather together. The nourishment comes from celebrating the divinity within each pair of eyes that we behold as they reflect our own spirit back to us. This seed eventually matures into the unique way that we embody and radiate beauty during our earth walk. In this transformational week, we will incorporate the sacred elements of nature, mindfulness, and ceremony to provide an opportunity for inner blossoming. We will be accessing the ancient wisdom of our ancestral grandmothers, making plant medicines, dying fabrics, and weaving with natural fibers. We will be accessing the deep and profound stillness that allows us to be fully present and fully ourselves. We will be celebrating life through creating earth art and body paints. All the while, the girls will be inspired by one another in a safe and supportive group setting. Lil Kookers: Kids in the Kitchen Camp - Pole Green Park
Fees: $145, additional sibling fee $115 Come join us as we learn basic cooking skills while making delicious kid-friendly meals. Beginning with the most important meal of the day, your little chef will take recipes and whip up something that tastes pretty good. At the end, of the day chefs will make and take home yummy desserts. Young chefs will learn: * kitchen safety * proper food preparation * cooking and baking techniques * manners and table setting Chefs will prepare: * pancakes * taco salad * pizza * homemade ice cream * strawberry delight * and so much more! Single Day Science Camp - Full Day - Science Fun Lab
Its a weekday, and school is out! If you would like something fun for your junior scientist to do from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm, then bring ‘em on by! We will have all sorts of fun science going on at the lab. Limited seats available. Drop off begins at 9:30 am for our single day camp. We will provide a morning and afternoon science snack.
