Speed, Strength & Conditioning - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
For rising 5th-8th grade students This camp will focus on athletic enhancement and speed development. Young athletes will learn proper training techniques and fitness program design to help them achieve their athletic potential-whatever their sport may be. Overall health of the athlete is the emphasized. Each athlete will leave with a personalized plan to stay on track the rest of the summer. This camp is co-ed. This week is open to experienced kayakers and anglers who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Some of last years catches included porgies, snapper blues, pilot fish, trigger fish and even a remora! You never know exactly what will happen in this exciting class where we get to explore more closely some of the best inshore fishing spots. We will be teaching the basics of fishing from a kayak, tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. We practice catch and release only. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. Includes: fishing & kayaking 860-535-9362

Join us at the Encinitas Skate Plaza for a week of skateboarding fun! Learn how to skate in a safe and controlled environment with expert instructors from the Neal Mims Skate Academy and SD Skatelife. This camp is designed to teach skateboards of any level. Come learn skateboarding fundamentals, meet guest professional skateboarders and make new friends. All participants must wear helmets, elbow and knee pads.
