Riders in this level range from those who have never ridden to those who have ridden before on trail rides and at friends homes but are limited in their technical knowledge. Did you ever think, What makes people laugh? What makes you laugh? We will spend a week laughing at comedy throughout the ages and create our own! By watching comedy in many forms, such as cartoons, sit-coms, improv, standup, and movies, we will laugh and learn about the universal truth of comedy and how it has evolved over time and by culture. We will also read funny stories, jokes, and essays, and we will grow as writers by writing our own comedy sketches, stories, jokes, and short films. We will also practice improv. Students will learn the fundamentals of writing a script, characterization & performance skills. All students will rehearse and perform in their final production. 420 Race Team M-F ($670 for 4 weeks, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of four weeks. The 420 Race Team is the most advanced program for junior sailors. Sailors are taught the fundamentals of sailboat racing, including but not limited to boat speed, boat handling, strategy and tactics, and team racing. Training as a team is strongly stressed. The team is reserved for those sailors who want to really improve their racing skills, and are selected by the race team coaches.
