Race for the Campers 5K, 10K, and Kid's 1 Mile Adventure Runs - Trout
Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Youth Achievers Foundation Summer Day Camp - Florissant, MO
10 weeks (Jun 1st - Aug 7th) of traditional styled camp full day (8am-5pm) that has provided children with a safe and fun summer for over 50 years. Requirement: Children must be four years old at the start of class, able to separate from his/her parent, and be completely toilet trained. Start the week off with a Five Senses Adventure Hike. Students will learn to sharpen their observation skills while hiking Beaver Brooks trails. Meet some of our resident wildlife and learn interesting facts. Make your own detective kit, keep a nature journal, play games and learn wonderful new nature songs. Taylored Athletes Summer Basketball Camp - Grandview Preparatory School
In 2015, our summer basketball camp program received great appreciation for our in-depth and intense basketball skill development regiment. The boys & girls who attended enjoyed a 1:9 trainer/camper ratios. Current NBA player Alonzo Gee provided teaching and instruction to youth, and our athletes reported a 40% increase in endurance, shooting efficiency, ball-handling, and confidence.
