Each Winter Elite Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. My 5 year old daughter loved Camp Galileo. Since they group children by ages, she got to meet other children with similar interests. She was having so much fun she didn’t realize she was also learning about science and art. My 9 year old son enjoyed the outdoor activities. His favorite game was playing Star Wars tag. Albany Gems Summer Youth Dance Camp - Albany, OR
The Gems are hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Dance Camp on July 16-17th, 2016. This is a two day camp for 1st - 8th grade dancers of all abilty and skill levels. All classes will be held in the main facility at the Albany Boys and Girls Club. Both days will run from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This give LOTS of time for parents to get some stuff done while we entertain your kiddos! Classes will be split up by level and experience so that everyone is in a class they are comfortable with. Classes will be divided into Mini, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Class descriptions will be posted later in the comments. Dancers will stretch and warm up together, learn a entire camp dance, learn level appropriate dance routines, practice technical skills that apply to all dancers, and dancers will be given snack and lunch breaks both days. At the end of the second day (3:00pm) there will be a family and friends show so that your dancers can show you what they've been working on. We have INCREDIBLE instructors coming from ALL over the State of Oregon to give your kiddos the BEST experience possible! ...

Advanced Camp for Boys - Stanfords Avery Aquatic Complex
Special Features: Specific goalie instruction, individual position work, emphasis on shooting and team tactics as well as everyone will participate in the camp tournament. Check In & Pick Up Information Check In - Resident & Day Campers: Check in will be between 4:00 - 4:30 pm on the first day at the dorms. A long water session will be this evening. Pick Up - Resident & Day Campers: Camp concludes at 11:45 AM on the final day of camp at the Avery Aquatic Center. The Sprouts group is a group of eight our young campers (4.5-5 year olds). Sprouts will have turned 4 by January 1, 2016. Each day on the farm will bring new adventures in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. PeeWee golf camps are designed for younger junior golfers and can range from as young as 4 years old to beginning juniors up to age 7 (and sometimes even 8). Our PeeWee camps focus on an introduction to the game and the fundamentals (those first three letters, F-U-N, being very important), all in an atmosphere that fosters learning and sportsmanship. Camps will touch on all aspects of the game of golf and include full-swing, short-game, and putting as well as rules, etiquette, what to expect on the course. Call us about signups of longer than 4 weeks.
