Kids Camp (Columbus Day No School) Ages 11 to 16 - Plano, IL
Kids can join us from 10am-1pm and complete three different art projects using different mediums. All fall/Halloween projects. Pottery, Fused Glass & Canvas. Pottery & Glass projects will be available for pick up with in 5-7 days. Canvas project will go home that day. This session recommended ages 11yrs to 16yrs. $35 per artist.

Teen Summer Camp - Macedonia, OH
Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Join Miami Dolphins Linebacker Jelani Jenkins and 10 NFL players for #TheUltimateFootballCamp! This is a non-padded, light contact camp, aimed to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. Campers will be coached by the Good Counsel football staff and numerous NFL and Division I football players. Both days will conclude with 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 scrimmages. Camp highlights include a Parents Seminar to review early onset strategies to help your child reach and succeed at the next level. There will be musical entertainment, awards, guest speakers, and numerous photo opportunities!

2016 Baroody Kayak Touring and Fishing Camp - Alexandria
Join Virginia Outside for an introduction to kayaking and kayak fishing. Our staff will instruct you on safety, paddling, and general maneuvering of a sit-on-top kayak. As you learn throughout the week at various locations, we will incorporate fishing, sightseeing and touring while paddling on all types of water. From local lakes and rivers like Bull Run, Fountainhead, and tidal creeks of the Potomac. We will progress to days on lazy rivers that include the Shenandoah, Rappahannock, and Rapidan Rivers. A kayak is a great way to get close to nature and we expect to see bald eagles, ospreys, herons, deer and beaver. When we are fishing our catch will include large and smallmouth bass, catfish, sunfish, crappie, and maybe even the infamous snakehead.
