Join us at Anders Ruff Workshop in Pineville for our Teen/Tween CAMP (Ages 10+). Create a preppy and charming 15″x20″ customized canvas and wood wall hanging! Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Full Day Enrollment 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Morning Only (9:00am-Noon) Clowning Around - This fun-filled camp will be perfect for your young jokester. Using improvisation and short scenes, students will learn how to make strong character choices and work with objectives and relationships in this creative acting class. Old Davie School - Session 2 Only (July 18, 2016-August 12, 2016) Advanced levels of study in voice and diction, character analysis, scene study, dialects, styles and methods. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. Performance: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. This camp is designed for campers who are: Ages 13 to 18 who are at a moderate level of experience. This camp is offered at Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Old Davie School only. Mountainside Adventures 1 - Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center
With the Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House land as the arenas for exploration, Mountainside Adventures allows campers to have fun while hiking to new and exciting destinations each day. Campers will focus on developing their problem-solving skills through exciting team challenges and spend their days creating their own adventures along the trail. Days will be active with quiet time at the end of each day for reflection, be it sitting on a log in the forest or within the recess of a rock crevice.
