This week with Virginia Fishing Adventures offers campers the opportunity to learn the basics of freshwater fishing, from casting, to lure and bait choices, to the best places to catch fish. We fish mostly private ponds with this younger camp to ensure success. Safety is our number one priority, so all campers will wear life jackets when in the water or on a boat. Also, we maintain a 1-to-4 counselor-to-camper ratio. 804-272-6362

Science is more than a subject. Its part of everything we do. The more we understand, the more we can appreciate and conserve our natural world. Join us for one or all of seven MAD LABS taking place on Friday mornings for hands-on, scientific activities that will encourage kids to experiment, learn, design, create, investigate, and more. Falcon Soccer Camp - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Kick off the summer with this fun and educational soccer camp. Campers will learn about passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling, and gain a better understanding of the correct terminology and rules of the game of soccer. Campers will be divided by age/skill and participate in fun drills and small sided games. Players should come with shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. Participants should also bring sneakers for the FHS gym in case of inclement weather. Ready, rehearse, and act! Join our new Theater Performance Guild to develop your performance skills and put on original productions with an ensemble of like-minded actors. Make new friends while learning the basics of acting, improvisation, playwrighting, and stagecraft, and much, much more! Create your own characters and write your own scenes – the sky is the limit to the worlds we will explore and plays we will produce. A goal of the guild is to build a group of young actors who want to further develop their skills, have fun onstage and offstage, and hone their craft together. All experience levels welcome and encouraged to join, from beginner to advanced. Performances will be ongoing and run on eight-week schedules (subject to change due to any calendar/holiday conflicts). Session ends with a performance on Saturday, March 5th at the Black Box Theatre open to all family and friends. (No materials required aside from your imagination.) *WANT MORE FUN? Enjoy four days of fast-paced training in the worlds most popular sport, soccer. Join BYU womens soccer head coach Jennifer Rockwood and BYU mens soccer head coach Chris Watkins for an exciting experience to refine your soccer skills while increasing your technical and tactical knowledge of the game. Participate in demanding training sessions, small-sided games and plenty of team scrimmages. BYU soccer camps are available for all levels of soccer players, from those just beginning competition to those who have had a high level of experience (premier club level and ODP). Many campers also attend to showcase their abilities in the hopes of someday earning a spot on a BYU soccer team roster. Camps not only will help you improve your overall knowledge of the game, but also will prove to be a valuable scouting and recruiting tool for the head coaches. All four weeks of camp are structured identically, where participants are grouped together by age, ability and gender. Goalkeepers are also welcome and will have keeper training sessions under the direction of BYU goalkeeper coaches/players.
