Techsplosion is a hands-on STEM enrichment program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2010, our passionate instructors have served over 1,500 students at over 50 bay area locations. We balance computer time with fun outdoor activities and themed games. Our Minecraft and Video Game Design camps are the most computer intensive but in all full-day programs we schedule approximately 2 hours of outdoor time per day. In addition to that, we have many non-computer activities, particularly in the camps for younger age groups like Junior Minecrafters and Minecraft Challenge. We want to inspire your kids to lead balanced and passionate lives, not turn them into potatoes. Challenge (ages 8-12): This program is designed for those that have already taken the Junior level program or are already familiar with the Minecraft game. Challenge emphasizes fun, creativity, and problem solving skills as motivation for campers to lean about video game design, video production and basic programming skills. Spawn into the curious into the curious world of Minecraft! Create epic worlds with the help of your fellow campers and ise powerful tools like WorldEdit, make awesome screencasts like your favorite YouTubers, and during free time, compete in Minecraft Hunger Games, Sky Wars,...

Our kids have been going to the local Boys and Girls club for the past year but this was the first time they ventured out for summer camp. I'm so glad they did. Throughout the week Children will be learning and doing variety of activities. Children will be expressing their emotions and creativity through art, it will build their confidence and focus through chess and yoga, and children will be relaxing, moving and growing while building flexibility through dance. Let your child expose his/her artistic side as they participate in a variety of activities among dancing, art and craft, yoga and much more. Please Note: Instructor: BayAreaGurukul LLC, Staff. Participants should wear clothing that can get dirty. Half day camps should bring a water bottle and a snack; Full day camp should bring a water bottle, snack and lunch.
