Good Afternoon, It's time to get ready for camp. Below, please see a short version (for those in a hurry) and a longer version (for the detail people) of what you need to know. Short Version Camp is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we do every year. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all students to attend. We're shooting for June 20 - 24. Camp Registration will not be on-line this year. Paper Forms will be available soon. Lindero Country Club - Lindero Country Club
Lindero Kids Summer Sports Camp offers the ultimate summer experience filled with fun and excitement in a safe environment. Our Camp Counselors are experienced and selected based on education, knowledge of the sports offered at our camp, and their experiences working with children. They are trained in safety procedures and first aid. Staff members are supervised by camp directors and club management. After Lunch Afternoon activities are offered after lunch. After a full morning of golf or tennis, your childs afternoon is structured into two afternoon activity sessions. During this time they may choose from a wide variety of activities including organized games of golf or tennis, swimming, soccer, basketball, hikes, arts and crafts, fishing and much more! Counselors Camp staff is selected based on education, knowledge of sports offered at our camp and their prior experience working with children. Our counselors are trained on safety procedures and first aid. Staff members are supervised by camp directors and Club management. Lunches A wholesome and nutritious lunch is prepared for campers by our Country Clubs Executive Chef on a daily basis. Week 8: Day Camp Assistant Training (Leadership Development) - Camp Tanadoona
Day Camp Assistant (DCA) Training is the first step in Tanadoonas leadership development program. DCAs spend the first half of the week engaging in teambuilding workshops and interactive leadership training with lead camp staff. Training includes first aid, behavior management, specialty programming and basic counselor skills. DCAs immediately apply their training when they are partnered with Tanadoona Counselors to assist with Day Camp groups during the second half of the week. Staying overnight on Thursday to help with the Thursday Overnight campers provides additional experiential learning. We recommend a minimum of two years of DCA before progressing to CIT. 612-235-7284

Teachers: Erin Lea-Dougherty In this week-long camp, students will be developing cute little monsters, their habitats, altering old books to tell the story of their monster, and more. There will be a variety of media used including drawing, clay, sewing, painting, collage and decoupage! We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start. This camp is a great way for dancers to have the opportunity to try many types of dance. Each class will begin with a warm-up stretch and flexibility workout. The, 30 minutes of each class will be dedicated to ballet technique, which is the root of all dance styles. The students will explore new styles of dance. Monday and Wednesday will be dedicated to Lyrical, Tuesday and Thursday will be dedicated to Jazz and Hip Hop. Each day the students will finish class working on a small dance piece that they will perform for parents on the last day of camp.
