10 weeks (Jun 1st - Aug 7th) of traditional styled camp full day (8am-5pm) that has provided children with a safe and fun summer for over 50 years. Each camper has an opportunity to grow, discover, build confidence, and develop physically as well as socially. Daily activities are supervised by nurturing counselors and adult professionals who lead the campers through an activity filled day. Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site.
