This 68 year old camp is designed for children from 2nd grade to 11th grade. The camp has a strong Jewish heritage which influences the activities they offer. My 12 year old son enjoys the friendly staff and the fun activities. He has grown in confidence while discovering who he is in relation to the community at large. This is the 33rd Annual Kids Camp! This may be the best camp ever!!! Last year was tremendous, but this will be something special. There are three options for camp: The first is to start on Sunday (Full Camp), another is to check in on Wednesday (Half Camp) and we also have the option of daily attendance. Once Upon a Time K-2nd - Art Unleashed!
Inspired by fairy tales and mythical castles, students will sculpt castles, build dragons, paint mysterious landscapes and more as their imagination takes them on a journey to magical lands. 314-628-1024
Digital Music Composition - The Evergreen School
A class which combines technology and music. Students will explore music creation with PC computer technology. Lessons include learning audio looping, generating digital sounds from scratch, voice recording, mixing tracks together, and much more. Students will be able to experiment with programs such as Magix Music Maker and Sony Acid Music Studio (both similar to Apples Garage Band). The class week ends where each child has created their own CD, or individual mp3s, to bring home and share with friends and family. 206-957-1533

Kids Art Camp Spring 2015 Looking for a creative way to fill the spring break week? Campers, ages 6–9, gain inspiration from SJMA exhibitions and participate in hands-on projects that offer in-depth art experiences and technical instruction. Students grow creatively and strengthen their artistic capabilities while they develop team skills and critical thinking. LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Camp - Sport Center
This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers. Students will receive a USB drive with the game design software and games they made at the conclusion of camp. AGE CATEGORY Youth (6yr+) LOCATION SC Meeting Room at Sport Center
