LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 4th - 9th grades- Tennis Camp for Intermediate Players - Saint Marys School
This camp is a week long session where players are expected to have previous tennis experience. The players will be grouped by skill level and will be given the opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The daily schedule will consist of match play, drills, competitive games, individual time with the coaches, footwork training, strategic thinking, and pool time. Players will work on the following: groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, singles and doubles play. Each day Players will learn new techniques and different ways to approach their opponent in a match. Players will be faced with constant challenges in a way that will only increase their passion for tennis. This camp will help further develop the players skills, giving them the confidence to continue playing tennis. Hannah Jones, a member of the Saint Marys School class of 2016, will be leading this summers Tennis Academy. She has been playing tennis since she was a young girl and has a passion for this sport. Hannah has been on the SMS Varsity tennis team for three years and is also involved with many extracurricular activities in and outside of school. Maine District Youth Camp! - Old Town, ME
It's that time of year again! Time for our most awesome event of the year...Youth Camp!!! This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. 2nd Annual Fit Kid Camp! - Harrodsburg, KY
We had SO much fun last year we decided to do it again!!!! Sign your kiddo's up for our 2nd annual Fit Kid Camp! Camp will run from June 27-July 1 from 9-11 daily at Anderson Dean Park. Summer Strength and Speed Training Girls - 9th-12th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Black All classes will be taught in the state of the art Lattner Center located on the west side of the Upper School. Some sessions will take place on the turf or track at Spartan Stadium located just to the east of the Beren Middle School. The summer staff of Troy Black, Mike Gehrer, Destiny Clark, Cam Clark, and other staff as needed have many years of proven experience and knowledge. The curriculum and techniques like the training center are state of the art and are presented in a positive uplifting environment. Each session has a curriculum molded to the skill sets and abilities of the students. Strength and Speed - For the 6th year, we will be offering a class that is designed for the female athlete. Female athletes need to work on their strength and speed just like the males. The focus of the program will be on developing overall body strength, learning proper lifting technique, improved jumping ability, agility, speed improvement, and core strength.
