What I like about this camp is my kids can choose between a day camp (for ages 5-12), an overnight camp (for ages 9-13) or a specialty camp (ages 11-17). 2016 Teen Musical Camp presents Zombie Night! Directed by Vincent Ratzavong Music Direction Derrick Lacasse Choreographer Jake Boyce Producer Jen Rombalski This doo-wopping musical pays great tribute to classic horror flicks like “Night of the Living Dead,” “The Return of the Living Dead” and “Cemetery High.” Howie, Louise, Gary and Phoebe are in charge of “Zombie Night,” the annual senior class party. They locate an abandoned farmhouse by an old graveyard, once occupied by the creepy, crawly Dr. Thanatos, who tried to re-animate the dead (gulp!). Vivian and Anne show up, determined to destroy the party. (They’re sore losers who wanted a sock hop instead.) Enter a grim farmer who warns the kids that it’s dangerous to stay. We soon discover why — zombies! While the decorations go up, the zombies shuffle from the graveyard. Cosmic cannibals! It’s zombies versus students! The spoof races to a spine-chilling and hilarious finale. With a great opportunity for eerie makeup with the zombies, this bebopping fright-fest plays well at Halloween or any time of year!

• Explorations include studying different types of pulleys, simple and complex machines, and Newtons Third Law of Motion. In the second part of the program, our young scientists will experiment with electronic devices, circuits, and wearable technology. • STEM Challenges: Design and build a crane to lift a heavy load on a new space colony on Mars; Design and build an LED book light. 4439286772.0

In order to earn credit, students may not be absent for more than three days during a six-week course. Lunch fees are included. 214-360-6586
Gymnastics Camp, Ages 7-13 - Community House
Girls will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics including rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons, tumbling on the mats and have the opportunity to learn routines on the balance beam, the single and uneven parallel bars and the vault. Lorrie Rousseau is LPRDs Gymnastic Instructor during the school year and now Lorrie brings her talent and over 25 years of dance and gymnastic experience to our summer camps. This is an excellent opportunity for dancers and cheerleaders to get in shape and learn beginner through intermediate gymnastic level activities. Space is limited!
