My daughter wouldn't miss going to this Lutheran camp!
This Lutheran Bible Camp is one of the oldest summer camps in America. It was founded in 1926, and is my daughter’s favorite camp. She has fun meeting other youth while strengthening her faith. She also enjoys swimming, arts and crafts and singing around the camp fire. We make sure to plan other summer activities around this summer camp time, so she won't have to miss going to camp.

2016 Camp Journey Spring Overnight - Camp Twin Lakes
Camp Journey is an overnight camp focused on social skills, building friendships, teamwork, manners, and self-esteem. Camp activities include directed social skills instruction in a typical overnight camp setting. Camp Journey is available to campers age 9 to young adult with Moderate*, Mild, and HFA/Aspergers Syndrome. *A small number of spaces are available for campers that need more adult support in daily living skills, social interaction, and communication. Move, express and think quickly on your feet! This workshop is full of fun theater games and improvisational activities where students will work collaboratively to create numerous characters and plots and then bring them to life on stage. We will learn and laugh a lot together. We will focus on the process of building an actors skills by using improvisation as the tool for exploration and discovery.
