-Discount on Full Semester Purchase- At KidzArt, we believe that creativity exists in everyone and can be taught. KidzArt helps students develop skills that enhance other areas of academics and personal expression. The younger we can begin a students creative journey, the better! The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show preschoolers how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Much of DISCOVER! centers around teaching our preschoolers to slow down and relax, to focus, and to see how the world around them is put together. KidzArt drawing lessons focus on process. Students use markers and quality drawing paper with basic introduction to properly using other media such as chalk and oil pastel. All media is non-toxic. Location: Upstairs in the chapel. Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Parent's Night Out/Kid's Night In - Winter Park, FL
6:00pm Dropoff 9:30pm pickup Parents night out/kids night in: Friday dinner and a movie at our new, beautiful, kid friendly, home office. We focus on families whose children are currently on treatment; parents who need a night out, with safe, reliable, free babysitting! BASE Camp Kids ages 5-15; patients, and their siblings are included, and welcome to attend! From 6-9:30 we offer up crafts, games, dress-up, snacks, dinner & movies for the children who are dropped off so their parents can have a date night! The BASE CAMP KIDS are entertained by volunteers who bring kid friendly food, popcorn & movie candy BASE CAMP has a digital library of movies; G, PG, PG 13… depending on the age group of the children we will watch movies on our 70 inch big screen TV in our Hudson's Furniture/Ikea-Orlando family room! Our volunteer teams also bring "Lots of energy", games, crafts, and a respite for parents who just need a little time away from their children!
