It is strange seeing Mitch still at it.If he's a Pennsylvania summertime person,it's partly cause he is sent couselors from far away.Would he remember the year 1992,I'll bet he would with miss Stephanie!It's possible the running rabbis lost their rep when mitch had his squad get them in a night game and come back with new aspirations.On campers,I didn't keep up with people on the grounds even Haden and Tracie who were from my state and we'll leave that to retired people like Bobby Miller.20+years... Winter Teen Retreat 2017! - Naches, WA
There are many things we have to survive in this world. Failures, conflicts, temptations, the list goes on. Though surviving the pressures and conflicts in our lives can be a tough and painful process, we can take comfort in the fact that like a piece of coal, we are being turned into precious diamonds for God's purpose. And in a culture that increasingly pushes Christians to the outskirts, it can be like being stranded on an island. But since the begining us Christians have been called to be set apart, "in the world but not of the world", and we know that through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, that we can more than just meely survive, but we can strive! Join us this year in taking a stand on the principles and truths that the Word of God gives us, stepping up to live out our calling and purpose and learning how to transition from being Survivors to becomeing more than conquerors!! Each Winter Uprising Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific Elite faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Elite Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Players will be split in groups based on age/skill if necessary. 2 Faceoff Days Dates and Times: March 19th: 11:00-12:00pm March 20th: 1:00-2:00pm Ages: 6 to 14 years old Please Bring: Full Equipment Cleats Water On the registration link below players can choose how many sessions they would like to attend. Get ready to achieve robot glory! Build and train resident CSC robots to race through obstacle courses and compete in Olympic-style events that will challenge new and experienced programmers alike. Campers will also construct their own robots to take home. Price includes additional materials needed for a great week at camp.
