Congressional Debate Camp - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Are you comfortable with the world as it is or would you like to be an agent of change? In a democratic society, in a business, or in an organized group of individuals, change occurs through persuasion and negotiation. By attending this camp, students will learn the basics of congressional debate and parliamentary procedure. Through a blend of games, discussions, outdoor activities, and practice sessions, they will hone analytical skills, impromptu responses, and speaking abilities. World Cooking - The Evergreen School
Students will be learning how to make simple dishes from several different cultures. Their kitchen experiences will be supplemented by fun activities highlighting the region the food comes from. Minecraft is more than just a popular game for kids. At AccelerateKID, we use it to teach information technology, entrepreneurship and computer programming. In Minecraft Camps, kids will learn about the Minecraft PC edition how all the commands work, the different modes & Worlds, and apply STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) to the projects. The goal is to apply creativity and technology to build world landmarks, cities and amusement parks to present on the last day. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt. ET-FP-U13-U18 Boys and Girls - Meredith College Turf Field
Player Evaluation Events are held to determine readiness/acceptance into the Elite Technique program. Elite Technique is a 40-week training program divided into four, 10-week Cycles (two, 10-week Fall programs and two, 10-week Spring programs). Fall sessions run from early August through mid-December; Spring sessions run from early January through mid-June. One training session per week for 1¼ hours per session. Cost = $185 for each 10-week Cycle (paid before the start of each 10-week cycle); players will also be required to purchase one Elite Technique training jersey for the program (~$25). You must register for the entire 40-week series – registration for individual Cycles is not an option. Players may withdraw from the program at the end of a Cycle and future Cycles will not be charged. Two levels of the RailHawks Elite Technique field-player program: Elite Technique PLATINUM: Comprised of high-level Classic players. New players must register/attend a Player Evaluation Event to determine readiness/acceptance into the ET-Platinum or ET-Gold program.
