Summer Camp '16 is just around the corner, don't hesitate to invest in your future, so get registered today. Jr. Camp dates will be July 11-13, ages 8-12. Registration will be $75 and the deadline is July 1st. Any registration received after July 1st will be $100. Our theme this year is "Defenders of the Kingdom". Our camp speaker is Kari Lineberry, she will not disappoint and your kids will leave rejuvenated. Sr. Camp dates will be July 13-16, ages 13-18. Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Tuesday - Knitting - HoLa Lower School
This class begins with essential lessons for to empower new knitters. Lessons will include choosing supplies, reading instructions, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off. Using these basic techniques, participants will learn how to create different knitting patterns using the knit and purl techniques, including seed stitch, ribbing, stockinette, and garter. By the end of the class, the students will have created a scarf using techniques learned in the class. (201) 427-1458

Week 6: Northwoods Adventure - Camp Tanadoona
An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Campers will peel back the layers and discover how these complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to…. well, you get the idea. They will uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. They will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. Campers will use a microscope, test for germs, map their organs, build a set of teeth, brain and virus models, AND take home their own MD kit.
