Teen Summer Camp - Macedonia, OH
Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Adventure Camp Week 1 - Butler Campus
Campers will explore mountain biking, climbing, paddle boarding, sailing, and backpacking. Daily experiences will introduce new and exciting adventures on our 140-acre campus and will be enhanced by customized trips focused on specific skills. This camp will enable young teens to challenge themselves individually and in group situations. Time will be spent on the 14 high and low elements offered on Laurels Project Adventure Ropes Course to help foster creative problem solving, promote leadership and build self-confidence through improved communication skills. Day Camp Session II - St. Johns Country Day School
Excitement awaits the day campers, ages 4 - 13, as they report to their air-conditioned cabins, located on the campus of St. Johns. Grouped by age and supervised by trained, full-time counselors, the campers safety and enjoyment are the primary concerns of each staff member. We also offer a specialized self-contained summer camp program for four year olds. Campers will be under the supervision of our certified Lower School teachers. Activities include arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor fun, and story time. Children that wish to participate in our four-year-old program must turn four years of age before June 10, and be potty trained. Children need to bring lunch and a change of clothes. Campers enjoy the use of St. Johns 26-acre campus, including its outdoor athletic fields and play equipment, shower and locker facilities, fine arts resources, 25-yard swimming pool, computer labs, and air-conditioned gymnasiums. All campers through grade 4 have swim lessons. Standard guidelines are used to establish swimming levels, and parents receive a report at the end of each two-week session. Campers may register for one session (two weeks) or up to four sessions (eight weeks). Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., five days... 904-264-9572
