The Satellite Prospect Camp offers boys, currently enrolled in 9th-12th grade, a positive developmental soccer environment. This camp will take place on the beautiful campus of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, MA. This location provides the opportunity for prospective student-athletes in the Northeast region to train and be evaluated by the University of Michigan soccer staff. Field Players and goalkeepers will work directly with the University of Michigan mens soccer staff to experience the daily training environment of the University of Michigan mens soccer program. The camp schedule will consist of on the field training, small sided and larger sided games, strength and conditioning and lectures regarding the recruiting process with academic and athletic components. Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Great Outdoors Mini Camp - EcoAdventures
Great Outdoors Mini Camp June 27th-June 30th Its back to nature in this camp and we mean literally! If it has to do with nature and the great outdoors we are all over it! These days kids seem to be losing touch with nature, so in this camp we are going to bring them back to the wild side. Kids will leave civilization behind as we head out into the great unknown to learn all about nature and surviving the outdoors. Campers will get the ins and outs of navigating trails, compass use, telling time by the sun, identify animal tracks, interact daily with animals, make fossils, build a drift shelter, survival skills, make Native American crafts, outdoor cooking (more than just smores) and so much more. Our "Grinders" class is ideal for intermediate players between the ages of 8 and 18. Practices will take place on the full 78 foot court. Players will be coached on the fundamentals of tennis in a fun, encouraging atmosphere. Players will develop athleticism through daily age-appropriate fitness activities, make friends and improve their game!
