KARATE (K-4) THURSDAY 3:30 PM- 4:30 PM - Westminster School
Instruction provided by: Kyle Mitcham Kyle has been teaching karate for over six years, and holds a black belt along with training in various disciplines. Kyles karate offers an after school care program that will first and foremost engage your child in a safe, fun, and exciting class at Westminster school teaching basic skills suited for this age group with absolutely NO student contact. Kyles karate will develop your childs confidence, hand eye coordination, and concentration. Your child will gain improved motor skills, balance, and focus! Through physical activity in the form of exciting martial arts. Respect, and listening skills round out the comprehensive program. Visual Arts Camp - Wolverine Camps
Wolverine Camps is a great setting for the inspired eye to capture beauty and create memorable pieces of art. Campers will demonstrate creative expression, learn advanced skills, techniques, and in-depth use of materials, vocabulary, and the principles of design. Students of all artistic levels can develop their creative techniques in this week long camp. Tuition includes all meals, lodging, instruction, art materials and camp t-shirt. Wild About Water Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
Its a week of water-filled fun! Plan to get wet (and muddy) as we explore our bit of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Well compare fresh and saltwater habitats through hands-on experiences like sampling for water-dwelling animals and performing simple water tests. Field trips will take us to see where our water comes from, how water is treated after we use it, and on a visit to the Chesapeake Bay. Well also spend time boating and fishing as we learn all about water, the plants and animals that live there, and how to better care for our watershed.
