For $6, you can get a combo of a Main Dish (Tomato Soup, Taco Soup, Chicken Stew, Venison Chili and Beef Stew), roll, drink and a dessert. Grilled cheese sandwiches will also be available to purchase for $1.00. Come on out and let us do the cooking for you! SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Painting Studio Session III: July 25 to August 5 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Safety Camp - Blue Heron Elementary School
Lino Lakes Public Safety Department, Centennial Lakes Police Department, Centennial Fire District, Lexington Fire Department, and Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department present the Annual Safety Camp! Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of serious injury and/or death of children. This camp is taught by those who respond to those types of incidents each day in an effort to reduce the numbers of injuries that occur each year. The camp includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedure, water safety, personal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety and first aid - all in an informative and fun atmosphere. The knowledge campers learn will allow them to make the right decisions when faced with unsafe conditions. Safety Camp is intended for children entering 4th grade the fall of 2016. Pre-registration is required and limited to the first 150 participants Priority will be given to residents residing in Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville until June 17.
