Exciting Activities For Girls
This camp for girls is an excellent way to get your daughter out into nature in order to enjoy so many fun activities. My daughter went horseback riding, swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and did arts and crafts and learned a lot about musical theater. She had such a great time. The cabins were nice, the staff is excellent, and she took away so much from her experience there. She can’t wait to go back next summer.... Read More...

Bring your young adult to Creve Coeur Camera for a fun filled experience and learn photography from the Pros. 3 SESSIONS - 3 Hours each FEBRUARY 11, 18 & 25 Week One We will cover the basics of photography; exploring Olympus camera settings, Exposure fundamentals of ISO, shutter speed and aperture, Focusing techniques and composition rules. Week Two Practical applications of what you learning in the first week. We will have photo “sets” in the classroom for you to practice and Explore shutter and aperture (f-stop) techniques as you learn about the “appropriate” lighting on your subject. Week Three Learn the basics of Adobe Lightroom; the photo editing software the Professionals use and how to enhance your images. All About Me: Self Portraiture 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Students will learn how to create images of themselves while making self-portraits. They will practice close observation with mirrors as well as correct use of proportion, shading, and tone. Projects include realistic self-portraits in which students will attempt to achieve likeness and ab- stract portraits inspired by modern artists. Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO. Resourcefulness, creativity and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures. This LEGO experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Campers will have a blast, even without prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO.
