WEEK 8: Ages 4-8: MARINE BIOLOGY AND OCEANOGRAPHY - SciTech Kids
Marine biology is the study of marine organisms in the ocean. Kids will learn what lurks in various bodies of water. First, they will use a probe to study the water in Central Park and collect water sample to identify species in their habitat. Students will visit a marine habitat to enjoy the oceans beauty. They will also build and deploy a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to study deeper water in New York City to see how exploration is done. In addition, kids will learn about climate change and its impact on the environment. Lunch and snacks are included. 212-804-7055
CR Stewards (ages 9-13) - Connolly Ranch
This camp is designed for those who are ready to advance their learning and exploration of the natural world. Connolly Ranch Stewards will get a behind-the-scenes perspective of Connolly Ranch and its natural history. Participants will have the opportunity to work on conservation projects, build natural shelters, learn advanced farm chores, explore rarely used areas, hike in the hills and delve into techniques, tactics and concepts that this older group is ready to explore. But its not all work! Our naturalists and teachers will guide these budding environmentalists in games and exercises that offer lots of fun while imparting important lessons about protecting open spaces and wild places. Summer ID Camp 2 - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Princeton Womens Soccer Summer ID Camp is designed for players entering grades 7-12 in Fall 2016 who have a desire to play collegiate soccer and specifically at Princeton University. Prospective student-athletes will be trained by Head Coach Sean Driscoll and his staff. Players will have the opportunity to work with and be evaluated by the Princeton Womens Soccer staff in a number of different soccer environments including technical training, small sided games, functional training, and full-sided games. Camp training activities will be comparable to the training conducted for the Princeton Womens Soccer Team. Morning sessions will consist of technical training and small sided game that work on speed of play and decision making within the game. Afternoon sessions will develop the ideas from the morning in a bigger environment. Night sessions will be full sided games with coaching/instruction from the staff coaches. (609) 258-3369

Our Little River Otters program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions.
