Video Production Camp - LCMM Campus: Vergennes/Basin Harbor
Video Production Camp is a hands-on educational fun summer camp experience. Filmmakers will be challenged to create a short film during their week of camp while experiencing and shooting rowing, snorkeling, exploring shipwrecks using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), blacksmithing, hiking, and much more. This week-long program gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge from any experience level using your own camera or phone as well as our collection of GoPro cameras, DSLRs, and editing computers. Our immersion class will expose children to new vocabulary through dynamic modes of self-expression & interacting in an authentic immersion environment. María Coutinho of Dragonfly Designs, originally from Mexico City, has worked as a freelance photographer and designer after receiving a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She has assisted renowned Mexican photographers all around the world and spends her free time as a singer/songwriter. The art program will give your child the opportunity to explore artistic expression through visual media. On Stage: Spotlight Camp - Matilda - Takoma Park Community Center
In On Stage: Spotlight, everyone is a star! Our two week camp is designed to allow students the opportunity to dive into performance and design/construction aspects of theatre by working on an abridged production. This year, students will perform 5-7 musical numbers with corresponding scenework from the Broadway hit, Matilda, based on Roald Dahls beloved book. Well start each day with physical, vocal, imagination & focus building warm-ups.
