Teen Rock Band Camp - Beacon, NY
Ages 13+ Tuesdays after school Sept 20 - Dec 6 All you have to do is join and you're in a band. Just like that. In our Rock Band Boot Camp for teens you start playing together on the very first day and you don't stop. It doesn't matter how much or how little experience you have. You'll learn how to rock out with others. While rocking out with your peers in the rehearsal studio, you'll get better at your instrument and develop your skills—and your swagger. At the end of each rock camp session you will put on a show that parents, family and friends are invited to attend. 12 weeks (No meeting Thanksgiving week) Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30

CSI II - Crime Scenes Talk - United Faith Christian Academy
Campers will become advanced forensic scientists for the week! Campers will analyze and gather evidence for a number of fictitious crime scenes, use luminal and UV light to detect the presence of blood, complete a blood splatter analysis, take crime scene photographs, complete a drug and poison analysis. Campers will also gather insects as from our rotting carcass (pork chop) as they discover how CSIs use their entomology skills to determine time of death. Snowy Daze - Old Trail School
Its snowing in June! Inspired by the movie Frozen, campers will explore all things snowy... summer style! Building a snowless snowman, taking a field trip to an ice cream shop, designing their own mittens, ice skating, creating snow dough, making snow cones, and more! Frozen songs, stories and games will have campers relive the magic of Elsa, Anna and Olaf and other friends from Arendelle! The week will conclude with a gourmet hot chocolate bar- complete with all the fixings! Super Heroes, Super Builders! - Hazen High School
The Super Heroes need your help to save the day! Create motorized vehicles using LEGO® components for the heroes to ride. Make the Batmobile, a flying craft for Supergirl, Captain Americas motorcycle, Iron Mans Quinjet, and the perfect ride for Spiderman. Each day, students have a mission to accomplish with the help of the project they build. We provide step-by-step instructions so students can incorporate motors and gears into their creations. Students then customize their projects and proceed on their missions. Students learn about the following mechanisms and systems as they build and play with their projects: •How gears control the speed and torque (power) of vehicles •How pulley systems transfer power to move objects •How you can change the direction of movement with bevel gears •How liftarms can be used to make strong attachments and add cool designs to creations •How to build fast-moving vehicles that stay together in crash tests •How to make Super Hero minifigures leap ten times their length in a single bound (really)!
