Make a splash this summer at Summer Daze Swim Camp. This week we will have swimming lessons, learn about water safety, play water games, travel to local swimming holes, and take a trip to a water park. Theres no better way to start your summer! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. A weekly newsletter will give parents and campers an idea of what to expect each week. Join us for a summer of adventure, friendship and fun! Too Much Fun For One Summer
I was worried about what to do with the kids this summer because of my new job. Thanks to Camp Radians I didn't have to worry. They had so much fun every week. Between the swimming (which they can't get enough of) and the museum field trips I feel like they had extended recess. I also like the focus on culture through crafts and food. Soccer Shots II (K-2nd Grade) - Germantown Friends School
Soccer Shots Philadelphia is coming to GFS this spring! Soccer Shots is the premier childrens soccer experience for children from preschool to second grade. Through quality, high-energy soccer programming with principled instruction from highly-trained coaches, Soccer Shots emphasizes soccer skills and character development with fun, age-appropriate play. Soccer Shots instructors use each session to teach children important character and social concepts, such as teamwork, confidence and respect. Moreover, their weekly, semester-long approach will take all children from the most basic understanding of soccer through the 10 fundamental skills all soccer players need to know. Finally, Soccer Shots teaches players positive life skills designed to leave a lasting impact on every child who participates. Audition-Only College Level Teen Acting Intensive with Special Guest Instructors - Arts Effect Downtown
** PLEASE NOTE: You must audition and be accepted into this class BEFORE you register. This college-level acting workshop lead by Katie Cappiello and Meg McInerney along with Tisch School of The Arts faculty guests will focus on intense scene study and character development. Students will be challenged by advanced sense memory, improvisation, and text analysis exercises as they prepare scenes to be presented at the end of the workshop. Students will be assigned and emailed a scene prior to the workshop. This 5-day master class will require students to not only work in class on their pieces but also independently with scene partners outside of class – as they would in any theater arts college program.
