Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO®! Build a motorized walking Creeper, a terrifying Ghast, and a motorized Minecart! This project-based camp, designed by Play-Well instructors, combines the basic format of our core engineering-themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO®. 2017 Teen Winter Retreat - Jackson, OH
Registration for the retreat will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 3– 4 p.m. and will dismiss at 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 29. The Teen Winter Retreat will feature many fun events, activities and programs. You will need to bring your completed health form and activity release form that is signed by your parent/guardian in order to participate. Please bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes as we will probably be taking part in some outdoor activities during the retreat. You will also need to bring your own, bedding, towels and bathroom supplies. Registrations should be submitted by Friday, January 20 to Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. Registrations with payments should be mailed to Canter's Cave 4-H Camp at 1362 Caves Road, Jackson, Ohio 45640. Lessons include both functional objects created on the wheel and hand-built sculptural clay forms. Final projects will be completed using alternative outdoor firing processes including raku and smoke-firing.
