Participants must be able to swim 50 yards of front crawl as well as 50 yards of breaststroke in good form. American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group lectures on Aquatics Safety as well as introductions to Aquatic Sports. On the last day, participants will have the opportunity to use our giant inflatables and will take part in a Junior Lifeguarding Competition. Skyhawks Beginning Golf Skyhawks Beginning Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system as its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all equipment is provided. The students will be having camp at a park, not on an actual golf course. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen.
