Join Camp Fire for a daylong conference just for teens to build leadership skills that will prepare you for the school year ahead. Workshop sessions may include topics such as communication, goal setting, mindset management, teamwork, leadership style and the impact of service learning. This event is a great way to learn about Camp Fire programs like Teens in Action or the Spring Break Road Trips and kick-off the year ahead! Camp Fire will also present information about how to begin earning your Wohelo Award, the highest achievement in Camp Fire. Find your youth voice and learn to put it into action! Prior experience in Camp Fire, Camp Sealth, or program membership is not required. Lunch and all workshop materials will be provided by Camp Fire and is included in your registration fee. Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Wrestling (Mondays Only) - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Beginners and experienced wrestlers alike will be challenged at this camp. This technique camp will provide instruction on stance, level changing, circling, shooting and sprawling. High school students attending the camp will work on leg riding offense and defense, throws and throw defense, rolls, advance shot defense, scoring from an offensive position, and mental toughness. This camp will run Mondays only. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, wrestling shoes (highly recommended), socks, towel, water bottle and lunch/snack. Headgear, mouth guard, knee pads, etc., are optional. 248-373-5300

Freshwater can be the limiting factor for land animals and plants living on a barrier island. Sanibel is blessed with a natural supply of surface fresh water. We learn about Sanibels freshwater habitats and how they affect the local flora and fauna. In addition, we study one of the wetlands most notorious inhabitants, the American Alligator.
