The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. DISCOVERY CAMP began in 1989 as an age appropriate summer camp program for both children and teenagers. It has become the largest full-gospel camp in America reaching over 20,000 each summer. Their home and ministry headquarters is Country Camp in Columbus, Texas where gathering churches, loving pastors and networking leaders have earned them international respect. Their children, Andrew, Peter, and Abby are also involved in ministry. Discovery Camp's resides on a a 1,088-acre Christian retreat center and ministry headquarters located in Columbus, Texas. The campus includes housing for 1100 campers, full recreational facilities and summer resident quarters for over 200 staff employees, interns, and ministry families. Three waterslides, go-carts, horses and age appropriate activities will remind your group just how much fun it is to be a Christian. With over 200 staff and interns, our wonderful DC team love the campers and are committed to a safe and fun summer.

Destructive and nondestructive tests will be conducted to investigate catastrophic failures such as bridge collapse, airplane structural failure, containers that leak, pipes that burst, and electrical failures. Advances in materials are at the core of significant technological advances, and we are in a materials revolution today! Students experience a hands-on introduction to materials science, engineering, and technology, joining researchers who push boundaries further than ever before, using biology, chemistry and physics to expand our technological frontiers.
