Brought to you by the C.A.R.E. Actor (creative awareness responsive education) program, comes alive as we act out storybooks and make our own costumes and props using a variety of art materials! In his camp, students will experience how the theater arts and fine arts go hand in hand while discussing topics such as respect, kindness, and peace through storybooks. This class will have a final presentation on the last day of camp. Come join us this summer! Many exciting details are still falling into place, but some very important ones are already set: - Our worship band for the whole week is The Hardcastles, our camp worship band for the last two years at Camp Eagle. - Our speaker is former hockey player, youth evangelist and long time youth pastor, Shawn Roberts, who has spoken to thousands upon thousand of students and seen thousands come to know Christ. - Activities we know we'll have: river tubing, swimming, gaga ball, ulimate, football, hiking, square dancing, bow and arrow tag, airsoft, bonfires, small group talks, team challenges, camp challenges... - Best of all, we'll be serivng the community and the camp throughout the week doing service project. - So many more things to come, shirts, journals, themed meals and more...we'll keep you updated as things move. Session 2: July 11- August 5 - Summit Schools
3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for morning preschool, available 5, 3, OR 2 days a week. A small class size of 16 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher and 1 trained associate enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). These afternoon sessions are an opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old to prepare for a full day of school. The All Pro Football Camp teaches campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This camp is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as ?Punt, Pass, and Kick? and ?NFL Fast Football?. All equipment will be provided. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. CAMP Rube Goldberg is back by popular demand in the summer of 2016! Youll love this camp if you love watching energy flow from one thing to another, like in marble runs, water walls and falling dominoes! We will spend this camp session collaborating and building Rube Goldberg machines – contraptions that perform a simple task in the most complicated way possible. In both individual and group settings, campers will get to experiment with everyday objects to create Rube Goldberg machines and complete challenges.
