Teen Snow Camp Camp at CoBeAc - Prudenville, MI
Every teen is looking for a reason to take a few days off school and have some fun. Camp CoBeAc offers the opportunity for teens to break away from busy schedules and loads of homework. Come and spend a few days at camp for a time to relax physically and recharge spiritually. This exciting weekend contains five preaching sessions by Pastor Kurt Skelly, late night tubing, volleyball and basketball tournaments, team competitions, blazing fireplace, human foosball, special skit hour, annual broom hockey tournament, cozy coffee shop and gift store, delicious meals, and so much more!!! Cost is $95, and you must pre-register with the church. Teens will need money for meals on the way up and back, as well as spending money at the coffee shop and gift store. We leave on Thursday, Jan. 28 and return on Saturday, Jan. 30. Pick up a registration form at church!

Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. The children will be introduced to the basic elements of music through singing and movement in a fun and creative way. The class activities will include singing, listening, coloring to music, movement, fun musical games and improvisation, and exploring Orff instruments and learning about rhythm, tempo, measure and notes.
