Science Quest: Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 We have partnered with the Challenger Learning Center of NWI to offer three Tuesday camp experiences on June 14th, 21st and 28th for all kids, teens and adults with varying abilities. Siblings, friends and neighbors are welcome! Age Groups: Students entering kindergarten-age 10 will meet from 9-11:30am Students ages 11-adult will meet from 12:30pm-2:00pm Tuesday Classes: June 14th: Astronomy June 21st: Animals and Bugs June 28th: Magnets and Electricity There is a 20 person limit per class! The cost is $10 per child which includes all three sessions. Parents are required to stay with the younger group. Buddies will be available to give our groups extra help. Robot Engineer - British International School of Charlotte
Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our Robotic Arm Edge kit and our 7 in 1 Solar Robot kit. In addition to these projects, campers will be learning how to solder with our blinky robot project. Join the most popular soccer camp in North America this summer. First Kicks will introduce the fundamentals of soccer through a learning environment. Mini Soccer is more skill building and competitive. Half day camps are for players who want to master more of their core techniques, while the full day camp is for the serious competitor. QuadCopter Aerial Robotics – Ages 12-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price Includes $100 lab fee Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker.
