The week includes lessons and services geared for teens with the theme "Glow in the Dark," games, music and arts, swimming, and an incredible time with friends. Flyin Fierce Ever attempted to fold that perfect airplane, only to realize it was a better wad of paper? Ever had that urge to fold up that quiz that you didnt do so well on and send it ripping across the room, only to realize youd probably end up sitting in detention for your fine flight! Well have no fear, join Club Scientific for Flyin Fierce where it will be expected that youll fold a phenomenal flying machine and if you cant, then well show you how. Toys, darts, stunts, gliders, even balsa wood flyers will be the focus. No worries, well provide the protective eye wear! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Construction Chaos Think youre a problem solver? Believe you have engineering qualities such as designing, building and testing? Well Club Scientific is coming to test your abilities in all three areas with Construction Chaos! Each week youll design and build various structures, and then test each structure for success or failure! Whether they work (or not) youll have an incredible building experience. You will learn just a few cool chords and scales in order to create melodies and improvisations, and will use a lead sheet as a means to play almost anything right from the first time you see it. Bring your iPhones or iPads (if you have them) for recording. Well have a rockin performance on the last day with some guest pro musicians that will give you a chance to show off your new found chops! With the NFL, college, and high school mini-camps getting started all around the country, we wanted to the North Metro a youth football camp. Boys and girls are welcomed and encouraged to partake in the football events. Events include drills, obstacle courses, offensive and defensive techniques and plenty of flag football games for everyone. Kids will also get a Basketball Camp, complete with skills, games and competitions. Featured Field Trip : Valley Fair Amusement and Water Park, August 6. FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. There is so much activity between these hours!
