Youth Leaders "Thanksgiving" Fellowship and Business Session - Springf
Hosted this month by Camp Barnabas, providing us a FREE lunch at their office location in Springfield! Leaders will have the opportunity to "connect" with other youth leaders in ministry, and to share ideas and resources! Bring printed material on events you would like to promote to share with the group. You will hear about some great opportunities for ministry through this camp for special needs students. This will also be our "elections" business session at 11:15 prior to lunch. All voting members are encouraged to be present. Also, those who want may join the Coordinator to be praying for our campuses, students, and leaders about 30 min. prior to the start. One Session ONLY! Monday – Friday, 1 to 4PM Class limit 20, minimum 8 Students need to bring paper and pens Minimum age: 13 $200 members, $225 non members Will we sing campfire songs? No. Will we write similes about the smell of a campfire, or lengthy descriptions of that one camp counselor who wears knee socks and a fanny pack? Perhaps. Join Kirsten Casey for five days of writing delight: creating poetry, characters, flash fiction pieces, and more. We will write everyday from 1-4 using a variety of prompts, strengthening our attention to detail, sharing our work, and eating candy. Kirsten Casey is a local California Poet in the Schools, who has been teaching creative writing to students in the area for over ten years. She earned her Masters in Creative Writing from San Francisco State, and you can find her work in the anthology Yuba Flows, and her own book of poetry, Ex Vivo: Out of the Living Body. As a teen, Kirsten kept a daily journal, wrote poetry and a play, and enjoyed quoting song lyrics. She loves working with teens because she feels like a teen trapped inside of an adult, and because she never tires...

Three waterslides, go-carts, horses and age appropriate activities will remind your group just how much fun it is to be a Christian. Eagles Basketball Camp - St. Thomas High School
Come join head coach John Kwok and the St. Thomas basketball staff for an intensive 4-day camp to better maximize your summer basketball season. Current and former STH basketball players will complete the staff promoting individual development through a variety of skill instruction sessions and competitive daily scrimmages with an emphasis on offensive / defensive team concepts. Treasures Across America Week 3 - The Chapel School
Our theme this year is Treasures Across America." Our students will learn about the our great nation by traveling cross country. We will make stops in all 50 states learning about uniqueness and history of each state. In addition to age appropriate literature and arts and craft projects, campers will have an in-house field trip once a week. We will be visited by The Nature of Things, Greenburgh Nature Center, Mad Science, The Maritime Aquarium, Dinosaurs Rock and more! Children also have the opportunity to enjoy plenty of outdoor fun, with water play and games on our secure school playground.
