American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group swimming lessons as well as introductions to other Aquatic Sports. Participants will have the opportunity to use our giant inflatables and compete in a camp Olympics to take place on the last day of every camp. This camp will dive into the extraordinary world of Dr. Seuss. Using both well-loved and little known stories by Dr. Seuss imaginations will be going wild. Daily books, crafts, dramatic play, and learning activities (rhyming, comprehension, recall) will be part of the experience that is Dr. Seuss. There will be no class on Friday, July 3rd. Campers will learn soccer skills and techniques through exercises and games specifically designed for young players. Campers are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace, under the careful guidance of Ashland Mens Soccer Coaching staff and players. Coach Slawson was a 10-year Assistant Coach at The University of Akron and Director of the Akron Soccer Camps, prior to becoming the Head Coach at Ashland University in January 2016. Having developed thousands of campers and youth players in Northeast Ohio, Coach Slawsons Ashland Camp will be a fun and interactive week of soccer, where campers will experience technical development with the emphasis always on fun and learning through individual and small group training activities & games!
