American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group swimming lessons as well as introductions to other Aquatic Sports. You know "Hop on Pop", "Green Eggs and Ham", and "The Cat in the Hat" but do you know "The Sneetches", "Yertle the Turtle" or "Daisy-Head Mayzie"? This camp will dive into the extraordinary world of Dr. Seuss. Using both well-loved and little known stories by Dr. Seuss imaginations will be going wild. Daily books, crafts, dramatic play, and learning activities (rhyming, comprehension, recall) will be part of the experience that is Dr. Seuss. There will be no class on Friday, July 3rd. Ashland University Mens Soccer Camp - Old Trail School
Coaches from the Mens Soccer program at Ashland University, lead by Head Coach Oliver Slawson, will focus on skill development for young soccer players. Campers will learn soccer skills and techniques through exercises and games specifically designed for young players. Campers are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace, under the careful guidance of Ashland Mens Soccer Coaching staff and players. Coach Slawson was a 10-year Assistant Coach at The University of Akron and Director of the Akron Soccer Camps, prior to becoming the Head Coach at Ashland University in January 2016.
