LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 04 Summer Fun Camp 4 Ages 5-12 - Middle School
Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and at 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games,educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36. In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. 11 sessions, 11 meals, and 4 nights. USA Partner Camp - up to 5% of our camp can be recommended to the USA Futures Program. Commuter campers will follow the same training schedule, checking in by 9:00am and checking out by 8:00pm daily. Survivor Camp is a challenging adventure camp that will develop outdoor living skills — specifically, build a raft to use on the pond, go mountain climbing at Pilot Mountain, learn knots and rope crafts and cooking over a fire. From Monday night to Thursday night survivor campers spend each night outside. Campers learn the leave no trace philosophy. Explore the science behind flight by looking at animal wings and feathers under microscopes, going on a bird hunt, testing seed floating abilities, and engineering your own parachutes, kites, and wind tube flying contraptions. See how a sail can act as a giant wing as you get a taste of sailing on a Sonar! Look to water to see what animals fly underwater and go boogie boarding to fly on waves.
