Physical Programming w/ Processing (AM) - The Digital Arts Experience
Come for 1 or 2 weeks! All students will receive their own DAE 8GB flash drive to store their work on and take home. Previous knowledge of the basics of computer science or a programming language are recommended. This course will explore taking programming off of the computer screen. An Arduino Microcontroller will be used together with Processing code to create interactive programs. These programs will have visual components from Processing and physical components from the Arduino such as buttons, light switches, LEDs, motors and more. 9146448100.0

Students will learn and review basic programming principles and design creative animations and simple, fun games. They will explore how variables, lists and sensing blocks can create more complex, interactive programs. Hammers and Strings Camp with Betty Brinn Childrens Museum August 8-12, 9am-4pm Grades 3-5 Drop-off: McIntosh|Goodrich Mansion Pick-up: Betty Brinn Children?s Museum Perform experiments, be an inventor and discover what makes music "work" in this new camp, designed in collaboration between Conservatory faculty and the creative team of the Be A Maker Space at Betty Brinn Childrens Museum. Youll learn basic music skills, then delve even further to reveal the science behind the music.
