Kid's Day Camp - Cambridge, OH
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! NO WALK-INS ACCEPTED! Only 14 youth accepted. Do not wait to submit your registration! The Kid’s Day Camp at Deerassic costs $50 for the 3 day camp, July 12th-14th from 9am-4pm each day with lunch provided. Activities include canoeing, riflery, archery, fishing, creeking, crafts, and field games. Trout start to bite as nighttime weather cools, salmon season opens in the rivers, and crabs are still legal to catch and are growing to size. Whether you’re an experienced angler or new to fishing, come join us for an exciting week of fishing at the very best spots in Western Washington! Learn the basics of rod/reel and fly fishing with our seasoned instructors and try your luck at various sites such as the Puyallup River watershed, North Cascades mountain lakes, and the Salish Sea. Target fish include trout, salmon, steelhead, bass, surf perch, flounder, sole, dogfish shark, dungeness crab, and many more. In the heat of the day when the fishing slows we’ll be learning what it means to be an honorable harvester. You will also learn to clean and cook your fish in various ways with lead instructors and French Culinary School graduate chef Charlie Borrowman to enjoy eating the fruits of your labor. Rookies - Session I - Camp Jack Hazard
Rookie Camp is a four-day, three-night mini-session designed for first time campers as an introduction to the camp and preparation for a full length Camp Jack Hazard session. Campers will try all of the activities available to Resident Campers, including: games, campfires, camp programs and an on-site overnight where theyll have the opportunity to sleep under the stars without leaving CJH grounds. Week V PM Play and Exploration - Franciscan Montessori Earth School
This camp, guided by the Montessori method, offers a mix of quiet play, story time, and outdoor activities that follow the rhythm of the child and the particular group. Activities may include play with clay, puzzles, and Legos; trips to the school library; nature walks; and harvesting snacks from the school garden. Children can nap if they need to. Video & Special FX (PM) - The Digital Arts Experience
Come for all 5 days or drop in for the day! Our drop in workshops are aimed at beginner to intermediate level students. Because our classes are small groups, instructors can gauge each students skill level and assign daily projects accordingly. Students will learn about the basics of compositing and visual effects. They will use different techniques such as green screen, color correction, image stabilization, 2 point tracking, blending modes, stencils and more with different projects each day. 9146448100.0
