FCOG-Youth Camp Out - Gallipolis, OH
We will be hosting a camp out for the youth, beginning at 4 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016. We will play games, fish, roast hot dogs, marshmallows, etc. Breakfast and Sunday School will be at the ahelterbhouse as well. If the weather is too cold we will move to the gym and have a "lock-in." All youth are asked to attend Sunday morning service, and can g picked up around 11:45 at the church.

Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast. Crabtree will be joined by more than 20 other NFL players. WHAT: The mini-camp is designed to help participants develop and improve their football skills, sportsmanship and teamwork, while building confidence both on-and-off the field. Campers of all levels will be coached by the pros, college stars and football coaches from the area. Instruction will focus on the team concept of football and fundamental skills. Campers are guided in all the traditional day camp fun by our experienced staff. Activities include creative arts and crafts, drama, storytelling, music, games, gym and cooking. Frequent field trips range from area parks, movies and bowling, to the zoo, water slides and more. Swimming instruction at the Evanston YWCA is provided twice a week. Youngest children must be 3 years old and fully potty trained by June 1, 2016. 847-866-6055
