LATEST CAMPS NEWS: PGA Junior League - Summer Team - Goodwin Park Golf Course
Team based junior golf program that includes weekly team practice sessions and periodic team competitions home and away. Juniors aged 17 and under are encouraged to play. Teams will be made based on the following age and ability: Under 18, Under 16, and Under 14. Younger players will be encouraged to play with the older teams periodically. Each participant will receive a team shirt and hat. Cost: $300 – includes 10 practice sessions and 1 team season. ($15 per hour instruction and 6 team matches) $500 – includes 20 practice sessions and 2 team seasons. ($12.50 per hour instruction and 12 team matches) $600 – includes unlimited practice sessions and all 3 team seasons. ($10 per hour instruction and 18 team matches) Includes, Team Shirt and Hat. 2 hour practice sessions weekly. Travel matches on Sunday afternoons. (date subject to change) 8605438518.0

Teen Writing Matters: A Summer Writing Camp July 18-22 - Grass Valley,

Join Kirsten Casey for five days of writing delight: creating poetry, characters, flash fiction pieces, and more. We will write everyday from 1-4 using a variety of prompts, strengthening our attention to detail, sharing our work, and eating candy. Kirsten Casey is a local California Poet in the Schools, who has been teaching creative writing to students in the area for over ten years. She earned her Masters in Creative Writing from San Francisco State, and you can find her work in the anthology Yuba Flows, and her own book of poetry, Ex Vivo: Out of the Living Body. As a teen, Kirsten kept a daily journal, wrote poetry and a play, and enjoyed quoting song lyrics. An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday.
