Let us introduce your child to the wonders of the bay area! Students learn about plants, animals, and ecosystems that are found in their own back yards! Each day focuses on a specific topic, such as marine mammals, marine birds, invertebrates, fish, and the marine environment. Students will explore the different environments on campus, search for dolphins and manatees in the waters adjacent to Eckerd College, identify birds and other creatures they see, get acquainted with critters in our touch tank and learn specifics in the classroom through discussions, presentations, and crafts. 727-864-8288

Summer Camp Reunion Weekend - Paige, TX
We just love seeing our campers and their families return to the village in February and March to enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire, and obviously a great part of that is when campers encounter each other! This year, for the first time, we would like to have an official "Reunion" for our Youth Campers and Adult Campers alike to help facilitate that. Both events (which will be separate, because we don't want the Adult Campers teaching the younger ones bad habits) will take place during weekend #2, Feb 20-21. Mark your calendar! AAC Summer Theatre Camp 2016 in partnership - Jasper, AL
This summer program will introduce students ranging from rising third graders to high school seniors to all aspects of the creative and technical sides of musical theatre production. From the audition to the final curtain, students will not only star in the production, they will also learn what it takes to put on a show. The program will include instruction in acting, voice, dance, set, costume, sound and lighting design and more. The camp meets Monday – Thursday each week from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00am – noon. KHK: Cowboy Overnight Camp - SD Discovery Center
Qualified staff, experienced horses and a rodeo and roping arena will be the setting for this camp. The atmosphere will encourage campers to advance their riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding. All campers will get to try their hand at rodeo and roping events. Instruction will be provided and all level of riders will be accommodated. Math and science concepts will be integrated into all skill development for campers. Everyone will ride and learn horse and ranch routines. This is an overnight camp. Chuck wagon/Campfire cooking will occur, (weather permitting). Bring a sleeping bag, overnight bag, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, sunscreen and a jacket. Riding Helmets will be provided. Learn earth awareness and conservation with the ‘Lorax and Mrs. Green Jeans, integrated in fun ways within the farm environment. Your camper will have fun while participating in activities that will have your child exploring their world. YOUTH RUNNER ELITE MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP If youre looking for a great experience that will give you a boost going into your Cross Country season this fall then the Youth Runner Elite Camp may be for you. Youre going to have fun, make new friendships, and maybe even meet your competitors. Youll also get some one on one advice from experienced coaches and athletes. Every day a Guest Olympian or an Elite Athlete will stop by to tell you their story and answer your questions. Youll leave with a plan and access to your camp coach through emails and phone calls until the end of cross country season. You can even bring your coach back home into the conversation. Whats Different? We love the camps with 200 runners sleeping in tents and getting crazy. Thats not this camp though. Youll be at Lewis and Clark College voted 2 nd nicest campus in the U.S. It has miles of running trails connected to the campus, a swimming pool, game room, and everything we need for camp. Instead of that tent or cabin you were hoping for youll be staying in a super nice college dorm. Sorry, no...
F-2 Simple Chemistry Labs and Activities to Teach Difficult and Important Concepts - Aurora
This will be a hands-on session where participants will perform four chemistry activities/experiments (two of the experiments will be a variation on one theme). The topics will include bonding, equilibrium, and stoichiometry. Teachers will be provided with copies of the activities to take back to their classes. In the spirit of learning together, we ask participants to bring their favorite activity/lab to share with the group (these labs will not be performed, just shared.
