This is the third year that our girl has spent the full two weeks at Piomingo. The big difference is that this year she is going back as a counselor in training. We're very excited that she was given the opportunity to step up in a leadership position. Become a Jedi knight by understanding the ways of teamwork and self control. Learn about famous Jedi?s, what they eat, where they live and what they do in their spare time. Make your own lightsaber and prove your abilities in an obstacle course. Don?t forget to come dressed up as your favorite Jedi character on Friday! Session I Volleyball - Cornerstone University
Grades 5-12 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Monday morning in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Parents are welcome to attend the training sessions and observe. A medical release form has been enclosed and the registration process will move along much more quickly if this form is filled out (or mailed in) prior to checking in. We will begin camp at 9:00 AM throughout the week. Free time will be from 3:00 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play volleyball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with games from 6:00 to 8:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also pack a dinner meal for each day or be picked up by your parents to go home/out for dinner. This Camp is a week-long art experience with Darlene Marshall and Mike Gibson. Campers will learn about artists, art techniques, and dabble in art history. Both sessions are identical. For ages 8-11. This camp runs Monday through Friday from 10 am to noon. LOCATION G.W. Carver Art Room at G. W. Carver Elementary
Basic Marksmanship - On Target Outfitters
Using air rifles, this camp offers boys and girls the opportunity to learn safe gun handling and develop basic marksmanship skills.
