Lacrosse Evening Camp - Vonnie Gros Athletic Field
Each camper should bring sneakers, goggles, stick, mouth guard, sun-screen, snack, and a container of water (no glass). Goalkeepers are encouraged to bring their own equipment. WCU and its camp staff are not responsible for lost or missing items. All personal equipment should be marked with the campers name. 610-436-3555
Sock Monsters - Ethical Culture
Make fun, quirky creatures out of unwanted socks. Learn how to follow a pattern from beginning to end; to cut, sew, and stuff new creations. Transforming something old into something new, students will learn various sewing techniques including how to sew on a button. Instructor: Julie Namack 212-712-6230
Christian Survivor Junior High Session #2 - Uskichitto
Our most unique camp, and a staff favorite! The spiritual focus of this camp is communing with God through His creation. Campers will sleep "outdoors" in our enclosed yurts and cook two meals a day over an open fire. Worship under the stars nightly. No previous camping experience required! Camp Collegiate Session 8 3rd-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Hawley Session 8: Crime Busters Camp. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced.
