I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. Shoot for the Stars, Inc. is proud to present the 2016 Back to Basics Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp at Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Design, make and wear your own fashion gear. This class will involve hand sewing, painting on fabric, jewelry design, fashion illustration, knitting, and learning to do fashion hairstyles. Your teacher, a fashion designer, will inspire you to try new things and express your personal style! Instructor: Britt Rynearson has been teaching art and design for 14 years and has worked extensively with students ages 3 to 18. She sold her own line of jewelry when she was 11 at local farmers markets! Volleyball Skills Camp (8-12 yrs.) - Veterans Memorial Arena
The West Fargo Park District is offering a summer youth volleyball camp for boys and girls ages 8-12. Participants will be taught fundamental skills such as serving, hitting, passing, blocking and setting. Participants need to wear athletic shoes and appropriate clothing. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Instructors will be local college volleyball players. It is recommended that participants bring water bottles with them each day.
