This week long camp is home to children ages 5 to 16. My daughter spends 2 weeks of every summer at this camp. Counselors from all over the globe come to teach campers swimming, archery, exploring nature, digital photography, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, survivor skills, leadership skills and horseback riding. Arizona Parenting Magazine is hosting their annual Camp and Summer Expo at Desert Ridge Marketplace. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet with local STEM camps, performing arts, sports or overnight camp and make your summer plans. Kids will be able to enjoy and participate in a variety of camp experiences, such as: archery, zip lining, rock climbing, Euro bungee, tie dye t-shirts and much more. Whatever type of camp experience your child is looking for, this will be the place to find it.
Kid's Day Camp (Mom's Day Out!) - Searcy, AR
You may drop children off for a 1/2 day or full day camp experience. Morning camp will consist of an acrylic 16 X 20 painting winter scene along with a hands-on activity. For the afternoon session, children will start with another hands-on craft with a smaller canvas painting. Children may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 11:45 a.m. or drop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. If you opt for full day (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), your child(ren) will get to participate in both morning and afternoon activities. The cost for the day camp for 1/2 day is $35 for the full day will be $65. If staying the entire day, we will provide sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza with a drink, or you may bring your own sack lunch.

The class activities will include singing, listening, coloring to music, movement, fun musical games and improvisation, and exploring Orff instruments and learning about rhythm, tempo, measure and notes. This camp will introduce young actors to playmaking, a process of making theatre as an ensemble through creative play. Students will explore acting, storytelling, costumes, props, music and movement to bring a timeless folktale to life on stage. They also learn how to sing, act and dance to a Broadway-style song. Over the course of 4 days, the PreK-Grade students will learn essential swimming skills through fun and games. Combining a games-led approach with excellence in coaching and instruction, each student will learn the core aquatic skills needed to be a competent swimmer. In addition to working on the four competitive strokes, swimmers will learn numerous other skills, which will give them the ability to participate in a range of aquatic sports including synchronized swimming and water polo. Swimmers will also practice water rescue drills and discuss water safety. Requirements: Must be in the PreK – Grade group. Swimmers will be grouped by age and ability. This camp is in the morning and will be held 4 days in Holmdel, NJ. Campers will get a lot of touches on the ball while working on becoming a better technical & tactical player. Todays game is becoming more advanced & Christie has built a program that will help your player. Her trainers will include Sky Blue FC coaches & players, national team players, elite club, high school & college coaches. Some concepts Christie and her counselors will teach and incorporate: Reading the game properly, spacial awareness, body language, using your voice, understanding "team", training on your own, build confidence, always believe, being coachable & others.
