Minors must be accompanied by a chaperon or responsible adult (21+) who assumes responsibility and accountability for both safety and behavior of the minor. DRESS CODE: Your dressing should reflect the professional nature of an Adventist Youth and Young Adult and should respect the principles of Christian modesty and simplicity. ROOMS: 2 people per room. All campers are required and highly encouraged to bring money to cover the key deposit of $20 per key. It will be the shared responsibility of the occupants of the room to maintain the security of the room and return the key in perfect condition. Deposits will be returned at check-out. We have 6 Camps $44 per week ($24 Single Day Drop-In) Only 2 weeks (on Tues & Thurs) out of each Summer month. 1st Camp, June - Tues 21st & Thurs 23rd 2nd Camp, June - Tues 28th & Thurs 30th 3rd Camp, July - Tues 19th & Thurs 21st 4th Camnp, July - Tues 26th & Thurs 28th 5th Camp, Aug - Tues 9th & Thurs 11th 6th Camp, Aug - Tues 16th & Thurs 18th Dress Code will be more relaxed but still able to move and dance in, preferably leotard and tights and Ballet shoes with hair out of face...and no clothing with glitter ;) We also ask that Parents drop kids off and pick back up, NO Peeking or Sitting and watching until we present our Showcases on the Thursdays 3:55pm :) We will hold the Camps if we have a minimum of 2 dancers but will cap each day at 10 dancers. 2016 Level III Summer Intensive in Chicago (June 13 - July 8, 2016) - Colombia College Chicago
Our Level III is a four week program for advanced dancers, ages 14 – 17. Classes are held at Colombia Colleges dance studios, which are shared between two locations: 916 S Wabash Street & 1306 S Michigan Street. Dancers meet for classes Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm and Saturdays, 10am to 2pm. Students attend daily ballet classes and learn Hubbard Street and Hubbard Street 2 repertory. Classes also offered include: Modern, Yoga, Pilates, Improvisation, Hip Hop, physical therapy discussions career discussions, and more. Seeing first hand the importance of recycling plastics and paper, and composting organic materials to feed the plants in our outdoor space. The Green Team is a student-driven after-school club that will explore issues of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and conservation such as food waste composting, recycling, energy use, and air quality. This student team will participate in hands-on environmental science projects that will include conducting research, gathering data, and analyzing and sharing results. 06th 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp (4 Day) - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 4 (Four) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each... 865-376-9312
