Kids Herbal Camp offers children the opportunity to attend the MWHC while learning about herbs through age appropriate activities. Bird Bonanza Mini-Camp PM - Blue Jay Point County Park
Description: Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, and find out how to make your backyard into a wildlife sanctuary. Get to know other junior bird enthusiasts while hiking, playing games, and doing crafts during a week that is truly ?for the birds?. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bird Bonanza is a three-day half-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 6-8. All participants should wear play clothes, closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or day hikers) and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each camp session. Prepare for each camp day by bringing a filled water bottle, a simple snack and applying your favorite sunscreen and bug spray. The High School Advanced Camp is designed to create a highly competitive environment with the majority of our campers planning on pursuing a college baseball career. Mornings typically concentrate on drills and position work, while the afternoon and evening sessions feature actual games. Check-in will be held Sunday morning with evaluation sessions that morning and afternoon and a skills session that evening. Monday will feature morning skill instruction and games in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will feature games followed by a late afternoon check-out. The High School Camp has featured representatives from the following schools in past years: Georgetown, Richmond, Lafayette, Brown, Columbia, Bucknell, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, University of New Haven, Dickinson, Bates, and Cornell. **The names of coaches in attendance will be given after check-in on Sunday.
